The EXIST Business Start-up Grant supports students, graduates, and scientists from universities and non-university research institutions who are interested in founding a company.

The start-up teams receive the EXIST Business Start-up Grant for a duration of 12 months under attractive conditions to develop a business plan and prepare for their company foundation with the support of their university or research institution.

The EXIST Business Start-up Grant is a funding program of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and is co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF). The ESF is part of the European Structural and Investment Funds.
